Afolabi Oladele has 25 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry with 12 years of outstanding private practice in the equity sector. His career experience spanned through the public and private organizations including the Nigerian State Oil Company, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), serving in various capacities culminating in being appointed Group Executive Director for the Downstream Operations in 1995. While employed with NNPC, he was seconded at different times to OPEC, Mobil Exploration USA and Total France. Engr. Afolabi, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Post-Graduate Certificates in Petroleum Economics and Management. He is currently a partner at the African Capital Alliance, managers of premier Nigerian private equity firm, Capital Alliance Nigeria. He sits on the Boards of a number of international companies with business activities spanning energy and engineering services.
