Brief info

Monica, the Senior Finance Manager of DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited is a graduate of Agricultural Science from the University of Uyo and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Calabar, Nigeria. She has over 20 years' experience in the oil and gas and banking industry of which 3 years was in exploration and production of Nigeria oil and gas industry as Financial Analyst on major capital projects in ExxonMobil Unlimited and Chevron Nigeria Limited.

She has worked as Manager Internal Audit and Risk Management between 2008 to 2010 a period during which she helped in the setting up of the department, formulation of policies and strengthening of the company’s internal control systems. She has worked in various capacities in the Finance and Account departments of DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited. She also manages the Finances of WorleyParsons Nigeria Limited and doubled as the project Finance manager for Egina FPSO (Design & Engineering for the topsides process modules of the Egina FPSO vessel for Samsung Heavy Industries and Total Upstream Nigeria) on a part time basis from June 2013 to May, 2015. She also handles Tax planning and management of DeltaAfrk Engineering, Worleyparson Nigeria and Bay Atlantic Limited.

She supports and looks after the finances of DeltaAfrik Charitable Foundation as the Treasurer. Monica has been supporting the finance management of WorleyParsons Atlantic Limited, one of WorleyParsons related entity in Ghana since its incorporation in 2011. She serves as the Treasurer for the management of the companies Long Service Scheme under the DADT Cooperative. She is happily married to her friend and professional colleague Mr. Maurice Nelson. Her marriage is blessed with gifted Children
