Brief info

Charles is a holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Lagos State University. He has 20 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry spanning Personnel Management, Contracts Administration/Management, Bid/ Tender preparation, Logistics co-ordination and management, Expatriate compensation administration, Project contract management, Project recruitment and selection and Client relationship management.

He possesses good communication & interpersonal skills, Report writing and Negotiation skills. He started as a trainee with the Shell Petroleum Development Company in Warri where he gained his initial organizational experience. He returned to Lagos in 1996 to join Linkso Nigeria Limited a multi-discipline Manpower and Project Quality Management company. He rose through the ranks from being a Projects Officer occupying various roles in Lagos and Port Harcourt to becoming the Manager for Manpower Services over his nine years stint, during which time he was involved in managing contracts with NNPC, Mobil, Shell and Chevron at various times. He joined DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited in 2006 as Manager Human Resources and Administration and later became Manager Human Resources as a result of the exponential growth of the company and the need to delineate portfolios to maximize effectiveness and efficiency within the organization.

Charles is a people person and has a penchant for relationship building, is a strong believer in due process and enjoys developing others. Charles is an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), a trained Lead Auditor with the Standards Organization of Nigeria and is on the Board of Trustees of DeltaAfrik Charitable Foundation as the General Secretary since inception of the Foundation in 2010.
